Arsenal keen to sign Eli Junior Kroupi

Arsenal is keeping a close eye on Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi according to reports as the young Frenchman continues to attract attention from multiple Premier League clubs.

Kroupi has scored eleven goals for the Cherries this season. Two of the goals was scored against Mikel Arteta’s team. One at the Emirates and one at the Vitality Stadium.

Since returning from his loan at Lorient, the teenager has exploded into life in the Premier League. He started the campaign having to compete for minutes with Evanilson and rarely getting much game time. He scored a late equaliser against Leeds United in September which led to him scoring three in his next two starts for the club.

Still, this form didn’t fully earn himself consistent starts despite outscoring his Brazilian partner. Since Antoine Semenyo left the club in the January, Kroupi has seen the pitch more consistently. His recent goals have come against some big sides. Five of his last seven goals came against Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham. Which shows he’s more than capable of performing on the big stage in crucial moments.

Kroupi is a dangerous striker. His pace is electrifying but his finishing ability is also just as impressive. Most of his goals seem to be buried perfectly in the far comers of the goals making it extremely difficult for any goal to keep him out.

His positioning is a strong attribute as well. He gets himself into some fantastic areas and he’s always keen to find pockets of space and attack them with intent. His penalty taking is tremendous too. Which indicates he can stay calm in high pressure situations.

There are lots of rumours going around regarding Arsenal and potentially a new striker this summer. Eli Junior Kroupi is certainly one to keep an eye on.
